Army Hosts Virtual ‘Town Hall’ with Senior Leaders at 11:25 EST

In the wake of the national Corona Virus scare, virtual reality has taken on a whole new meaning up and down the ranks of our U.S. Military. Virtual town halls are taking place across the country as America’s service men and women shelter in place to ride out this storm.

A virtual town hall with Army Senior Leaders will be streamed live on Tuesday at 11:25 EST. The Hon. Ryan D. McCarthy, Secretary of the Army; General James McConville, Chief of Staff of the Army; and SMA Michael Grinston, Sgt. Major of the Army will address the issues that have cropped up due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Secretary of the Army Ryan D. McCarthy is an American politician, business executive and former United States Army Ranger serving as the 24th and current United States Secretary of the Army. In June 2017, President Donald Trump nominated him to become the United States Under Secretary of the Army.

General James McConville is a United States Army general who serves as the 40th Chief of Staff of the Army. He previously served as the 36th Vice Chief of Staff of the Army from June 16, 2017 to July 26, 2019. Prior to that, he served as the Army’s Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel (G1). He assumed his current assignment on August 9, 2019.

Sgt. Major Michael Grinston is a soldier in the United States Army and the current Sergeant Major of the Army. Prior to his current position, he served as the senior enlisted leader for the United States Army Forces Command
