Boeing Resumes Production of Military Aircraft

Essential production at Boeing’s Ridley Township facilities near Philadelphia started again on April 20th. They had been closed since April 3rd. 

The CH-47D Chinook, V-22 Osprey and the MH-139A Grey Wolf are all produced at this site.

The company said it was committed to the health and safety of their employees and are taking numerous steps to reduce the risk of infection by the Corona Virus. 

They are using hand sanitizing stations and using a personal mark for employees. They are reinforcing social distancing practices, using virtual meetings and temperature screening with no touch-thermal scanners.  

Boeing’s commercial manufacturing plant in Washington State that was shut down due to the pandemic, reopened on April 16th.
