After Nancy Pelosi rejected The White House’s most recent offer of $1.8 trillion, everyone, including the Democrats, knew that she was playing political games with the coronavirus relief stimulus. Member of her own party are pushing back.
Several members want to accept the Republicans’ stimulus bill to get much-need money into the hands of American workers. They have advised Pelosi that they want the deal, Fox Business reported.

While the politicians on both sides of the aisle agree that there should be a second stimulus package, they cannot agree on what should be in it and how much it should cost. Since the election, the lame-duck congress has done nothing.
As House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Friday, “our focus in the Congress now, in this lame duck, continues to be on COVID relief. This is a red alert, all hands on deck. As Leader Schumer and I discussed yesterday, this is an emergency of the highest magnitude…”
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said that Pelosi and Chuck Schumer “…are looking at something dramatically larger. That’s not a place I think we’re willing to go. But I do think there needs to be another package. Hopefully we can get past the impasse we’ve had now for four or five months and get serious.”
Congress must now do a Covid Relief Bill. Needs Democrats support. Make it big and focused. Get it done!
