When Charlie Daniels sang, “The devil went down to Georgia; he was looking for a soul to steal,” he wasn’t wrong. It seems the devil has stolen quite a few souls by the looks of the recount that now has millions of Americans, not just Georgians, raising their voices in anger.
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is coming under fire from constituents who are livid that poll watchers are being kept too far away from the recount to see what is going on.
Recount in GA is a SHAM… a dog and pony show. Sec. of State is a Never Trumper… WATCHERS have to stand 30-40 feet away … no signature verification. The recount is dirty. @RepDougCollins

Now it seems that the poll watchers have been evicted and cardboard has been placed over the windows. This is not transparency. Many voters are now wondering what Raffensperger has to hide.

David Shafer of the Georgia Republican Party and Rep. Doug Collins (R-GA), who is leading the Trump campaign’s recount effort in the Peach State, sent a letter to Raffensperger and stressed that “the training and directives … do not comport” with Raffensperger’s “stated goals and do not satisfy our concerns that gave rise to our request for a hand count in the first place.”
The Trump allies noted that the audit does not include a review of signatures on absentee ballot applications and ballot envelopes.
“Our analysis of your office’s publicly available data shows that the number of rejected absentee ballots in Georgia plummeted from 3.5% in 2018 to 0.3% in 2020,” the letter read:
The Georgia Republican Party is concerned about recent media reports that various out-of-state individuals and organizations are advocating that citizens of other states “temporarily” move to Georgia to register and vote in the runoff elections for United States Senate.
We now request that you utilize your broad powers to ensure that Georgia voters receive a fair election in January. Specifically, given the evidence that individuals and organizations are inciting unlawful voting by non-Georgians on a massive scale, and in order to uphold the election rights of our lawful citizens, the following measures are needed:
- Direct the county boards of registrars to report each new voter registration between November 3, 2020, and December 7, 2020, within 24 hours to the Secretary of State’s office.
- Conduct an investigation before the January 5, 2020, General Election run-offs into each new voter registration between November 3, 2020, and December 7, 2020, concerning: (a) his or her intent to remain a Georgia resident and (b) whether any violations of Ga. Code Ann. § 21-2-561 or Ga. Code Ann. § 21-2-571 may have occurred.
- If it is not feasible to accomplish Request No. 2 before the election, segregate all ballots cast in the run-offs to the General Election by new voters registering between November 3, 2020, and December 7, 2020, until such ballots are necessary to determine the outcome of either run-off, at which point an investigation can be conducted into whether the voters are lawful residents.
The Georgia legislature never intended for non-Georgians to dilute the voices of Georgians in our elections. Quite to the contrary, our laws are written to ensure that our United States Senators and all of our elected officials are chosen by Georgians. We look forward to working with your office to protect the integrity of Georgia’s elections.
As Twitter users encourage Americans to call their state legislators to demand an audit of the vote, Georgia’s Secretary of State passes the buck and states that Georgia voters deserve to know who is managing the monitor programs tweeting, “it’s the parties.”
🚨Breaking News Alert🚨, according to @RepDougCollins on @newsmax, Georgia officials will now allow @GOP and 2020 Trump campaign officials to be at the tables and inspect ballots, so Republican observers will be allowed in now.

The fraud that has taken place in Georgia is prevalent nationwide. Citizens demand full audits, not just recounts of the same fraudulent votes.
Here is the chairman of the Federal Election Commission talking about election fraud. Any surprise the mainstream media is not reporting what he has to say? https://t.co/BEjRyWGSg6

The sentiment is the same all over the state, all over the country. The ballots need to be canvassed to eliminate invalid ballots. An audit needs to compare signatures and separate the real ballots from the fake ballots. Then, the recount needs to count only the legal ballots.
Even the appearance of impropriety is just as damaging as the voter fraud itself.
No wonder Georgia’s on everybody’s mind.
