White House Chief of Staff: ‘It’s time for people to go to jail’

White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows on said Sunday that it’s “time for people to go to jail.”

“I think the American people are expecting indictments,” Meadows told FOX News anchor Maria Bartiromo. “And I tell you, it’s time that people go to jail and people are indicted.”

In what portends to be a hot August in the denouement of the FISA-gate scandal, Meadows also said to expect new documents “in the coming days” pointing to the FBI covering up the spying of the Trump campaign and frame jobs and entrapment around his advisors.

His appearance on the Sunday show was to reinforce what Senator Lindsey Graham  (R- South Carolina) had announced on Friday out of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Declassified documents showed one of the main sources of the Steele dossier admitted to the FBI that it was all garbage, yet they continued to use it to justify wire taps on the campaign’s Carter Page. It was revealed that everyone knew Page was already registered as a source for an intelligence investigation, so he wasn’t ever considered to be a spy for Russia, but one agent tried to infer that by striking lines from emails submitted in the FISA applications.

Sen. Graham said “it was a miscarriage of justice for the FBI and the Department of Justice to continue to seek a FISA warrant against Carter Page in April and June of 2017.

“The dossier was a critical document to justify a FISA warrant against Mr. Page and this DOJ memo clearly indicates that the reliability of the dossier was completely destroyed after the interview with the primary sub-source in January 2017. Those who knew or should have known of this development and continued to pursue a FISA warrant against Mr. Page anyway are in deep legal jeopardy in my view.

“Secondly, the comments of Peter Strzok regarding the February 14 New York Times article are devastating in that they are an admission that there was no reliable evidence that anyone from the Trump Campaign was working with Russian Intelligence Agencies in any form.”

FOX News Correspondent Catherine Herridge posted the document:

Meadows told Maria Bartiromo: “And I tell you, it’s time that people go to jail and people are indicted. I expect indictments based on the evidence I’ve seen. Lindsey Graham did a good job in getting that out. We know that they not only knew that there wasn’t a case, but they continued to investigate and spy. And yes, I use the word spy on Trump campaign officials and actually even doing things when this president was sworn in.”

“And after that and doing in an inappropriate manner, you’re going to see a couple of other documents come out in the coming days that will suggest that not only was the campaign spied on, but the FBI did not act appropriately as they were investigating. It’s all starting to come unraveled. And I tell you, it’s time that people go to jail and people are indicted.”

The president hit hard on the theme via Tweet, but he also named names, Obama and Biden.

If there were any question that Corona virus would be followed by Declassification that would make the FISA case as clear as crystal, the documents published on the 17th of July provide that answer; indeed, there will be indictments.

  1. We already know it’s passed time for these insurrectionists to go to jail…we just can’t get Barr to move on it…or anything else, it seems, except for TV interviews. Just more promises of action yet to come. Promises with no delivery.

  2. If Barr doesn’t deliver, Trump needs to fire him and get it done himself whether by interm AG, or by appointing a special prosecutor, or by acting as his own AG. Trump needs to start inflicting some down side and big time, if it isn’t already too late. He continues to allow the left to run with no exposure to liability. This cannot be allowed to continue.

  3. They all need to go to jail, starting from the top and working down:

    Zero [The Kenyan]
    Page (Lisa)
    Ohr (Bruce and Nellie)

I doubt it will ever happen, but every single one of these people should be indicted on criminal charges. This was a criminal conspiracy to pervert the outcome of the 2016 election, and if the US people let these scumbags get away with it others will know they can do it again with impunity.
